Miller Loughry Beach, is one of the largest independent insurance agencies in Middle Tennessee. With more than 86 years of combined experience, the firm has 41 associates working with over 9,500 clients. The company headquarters is located in Pinnacle’s offices at 214 W. College Street in Murfreesboro. Ken Halliburton is the managing principal of Miller Loughry Beach.
Our History
Miller Loughry Beach resulted from a merger of Miller & Loughry and Beach & Gentry in July 2008. Miller & Loughry was founded as the Miller Agency in 1949 by Edward E. (Ebby) Miller, Jr. In 1988 his son Eddie Miller, III formed an alliance with Andrea Loughry of the Maples & Loughry Insurance Services, Inc., to purchase the Miller Agency from his father and form Miller & Loughry Insurance Services, Inc. Halliburton became a partner in 1990.
The Beach Insurance Agency was founded in 1972 by Ted Beach. In 1990, Ted purchased the Gentry Insurance Agency and changed the name to Beach & Gentry Insurance. At the time of the merger, Beach & Gentry was the second largest independent insurance agency in the county behind Miller & Loughry
